Advisory Board

The advisory board provides subject-matter guidance on editorial standards, HBCU research methodology, and educational program design. Advisory board members do not have editorial authority over published content.

Advisory board formation is in progress. We are recruiting historians specializing in Reconstruction and the Civil Rights era, active HBCU faculty and administrators, K-12 curriculum specialists, and experts in digital humanities and archival research.

Black History Educational Foundation

The 501(c)(3) foundation that operates the educational programs of Black-History.com is governed by a separate board of directors. Foundation board membership will be disclosed on this page upon IRS determination of tax-exempt status.
